School‘s out and summer’s in the air. No more waking up at seven in the morning to get to school on time, no more homework and no more wondering if you will get suspended for exercising your rights or for doing nothing at all.
With this issue, we gain some stability. Oblivion is now released every two months, on the 20th. Printed versions can be found at The Danger Room Comics (201 4th Ave. W.) in Olympia, Washington. There is no charge for Oblivion, it’s totally free! You can also send two stamps to the address seen throughout Oblivion if you would like a copy mailed to you.
Another new addition is our web address. You can now find Oblivion at http://www.oblivion.net -- we would like to thank Olympia Networking Services (http://www.olywa.net) for all of their help in putting Oblivion online. Our web page won a bunch of awards, but we think all those web awards are dumb, so we don’t care.
We are extremely grateful for any submissions or feedback you give us. If you have any questions, comments, articles, art, comics, letters, graphics, poetry, link submissions, or anything else you feel is relevant, send them to oblivion@olywa.net or to the mailbox address seen throughout this ‘zine. You need not disclose your real name or even a fake name. If your submission is printed, it will be under the name you specify or that is in your signature if you don’t. We do not use any information from the e-mail header.
We do not discriminate at all. Whatever your age, sex, identity, sexual preference, religion, race, etc., we don’t discriminate. We try and provide a forum that gives equal opportunity to every side of an issue. Don’t think that because your views are different than those stated in a previously published article, that we won’t print it. Views expressed in Oblivion are of the writer and not necessarily of anyone else.
